The Burren

Burren Bedroom

The master upstairs en-suite bedroom is large, bright and airy, and has long sash windows providing wonderful views to both east and west.  The room has a King-size bed (twin if requested), a full-length antique mirror, and two armchairs to relax in.

The Bunratty

Bunratty Bedroom

The Bunratty is the main ground-floor bedroom, which is also King-size (twin if requested) and has a dressing room leading to its own en-suite.  Furnished with a period chest of drawers and dressing table, the windows let in the early morning sun which gave it its former name of ‘Breakfast Room’.  The room also features some regional maps dating from 1894 commissioned by George Unthank Macnamara, the brother of Coln. John Macnamara, a previous owner.

The Clifden & Lahinch

Clifden Lahinch

The Clifden and The Lahinch bedrooms face the front and the back of the house respectively with lovely views of Clifden Hill and Lake Inchiquin as well as the woodland and garden.  They are both furnished with antiques and both use the main upstairs bathroom with power-shower and a free-standing old fashioned bath.

The Liscannor

Liscanor bedroom

The comfortable Liscannor bedroom has a King-size bed (twin if requested), period furniture with a direct view of the back garden.  The room’s name comes from the Liscannor flagstones outside in the hallway, which are found close to the Cliffs of Moher.  Bathroom facilities are located in a large adjacent wheelchair-accessible rest-room with its own wet-room shower.   The downstairs bathroom and washroom are wheelchair accessible.
