Maura Kinney is an Irish-American who has lived in Ireland for the past eight years and hosts tailor-made group vacations in the West of Ireland. She will lead you on a voyage of discovery and let you experience the breathtaking scenery and hidden gems that the west of Ireland has to offer, a journey you’ll never want to forget.
Maura’s day and week itineraries make your vacation really special. Maura can take the hassle out of you driving if you choose to have her drive and guide you which, lets you get the maximum enjoyment and of the unique glimpses of an Ireland that many visitors do not experience. She will introduce you to the joys and luxury of Irish country living, with the warmth of open log and peat fires, fresh seafood and local produce, wonderful music with a great sense of humour and fun.
As an American with Irish parents, Maura Kinney spent many happy childhood summers at her grandparents’ farm overlooking the Shannon river in Kerry and has been passionate about exploring the best of what the west of Ireland has to offer ever since. With many years experience in Irish tourism, she is also an equestrian having attended the Iris Kellett horse riding school for a summer and is a member of the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group. Maura is an avid traveller, having been to university in Switzerland, and lived in Bermuda and Andalucia in southern Spain, where she has enjoyed discovering the culture, terrain, cuisine and architecture of each.
