Weddings at Inchiquin Country House
Inchiquin Country House and estate can truly be described as one of the most romantic and peaceful settings for a wedding in the Burren and Co. Clare as a whole. With spectacular views out towards Clifden Hill, a tranquil atmosphere of mature trees and green pasture as well as the Georgian House itself as a backdrop make for an enchanting wedding venue.
Inchiquin gives couples an incredibly private location to hold their special wedding day celebration. Bespoke wedding marquees are set up in the garden or a walled area to the side of the house surrounded by stunning chestnut and a rustic coach house. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés served on the house’s lawns are a perfect way to receive your guests before they are called for the main meal. Later, your guests will be able to dance the night away until the first rays of dawn arrive. The venue will cater for parties of up to 200, but equally as low as 10. The wedding party will have the exclusive use of the house during their few days stay, with an understanding that it is not used by their guests on the wedding day itself.
We hire out the house and grounds to you and leave the organisation of your wedding to you and your organisers. However, due to preserving Inchiquin as a nature reserve and listed building we exclusively deal with marquee providers and caterers we know and trust and they are listed on our website www.inchiquinhouse.com.
